If he's been slowing down on walks, there may be something you can do about it.
At-home red (660 nm) and near-infrared (850 nm) light therapy for dogs. No cables, no tablets, 15 minutes a day.
✔ For older dogs, and dogs with hip, joint or back problems, alongside whatever your vet recommends.
✔ Honest timeline: most dogs show noticeable improvement within 3–6 weeks of consistent use.
Noticed any of these lately?
It isn't always just age. Often there's inflammation in the joints, muscles or spine — something your vet can assess, and something you can support at home.
Slow to get up
Hesitates before the stairs
Not as keen on walks
Grumbles when lying down
Back legs slipping
Sleeping more than usualHow it works, plainly
For light to help a joint, it has to get through the skin to the tissue underneath. Pet Vitalis combines two wavelengths that work at different depths.
660 nm — Red light
Works on the outer layers: skin and nearby tissue. This is the light you can see.
850 nm — Near-infrared
Invisible, but it reaches further — into muscle and joint, where the problem usually sits.
15 minutes a day
One full session. It switches itself off and your dog rests while it works.
15 minutes a day. You put it on, he has a lie-down.
Place the pad over the area (hips, back, elbow), switch it on and it turns itself off when the session's done. Most dogs settle quickly, and plenty nod off.
If your dog already has a diagnosis, ask your vet which area and how often. Pet Vitalis doesn't replace any treatment they've prescribed.
How long does it take?
It's not an overnight fix. Here's what owners typically notice with daily use.
Weeks 1–2: settling in. Usually calmer during sessions and resting better. Not much change in mobility yet — that's normal.
Weeks 3–4: first changes. Many owners start to notice less stiffness getting up and a bit more enthusiasm for walks or stairs.
Week 5 onwards: consistency. With daily use, progress can continue. Dogs with advanced arthritis may need 6–8 weeks.
What owners tell us
"After about three weeks of using the device every day, she started getting up on her own."
Fernanda P. — Labrador, 12
"He used to whimper the whole time he was on rest. Now, as soon as we settle him on the pad, he calms down and even falls asleep."
Alejandro R. — French Bulldog
"By the third week she was starting to put weight on her back legs again. It's been a slow process, but it's given us a lot of hope."
Mariana G. — Dachshund

Try it risk-freeQuestions people ask before buying
Is it safe? Does it get hot?
Light at these wavelengths is non-ionising: it isn't UV and it isn't a high-power laser. The pad feels gently warm but won't burn the skin. Don't shine it into the eyes, and check with your vet before using it over tumours or open wounds.
Can I use it if my dog is on medication?
Generally, yes — red light doesn't interact with most medications. The exception is photosensitising drugs (some antibiotics and chemotherapy treatments). Either way, mention it to your vet.
Will it suit my dog?
The pad measures 32 × 18 cm. On small and medium dogs it covers the hips or lower back in one go; on larger dogs you work zone by zone. It suits any breed or size.
When will I receive my order?
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days and usually delivered in 5–8 days. Standard shipping is free, with tracking sent by email.
